VisitSaudi connector
Ask your AI assistant about Saudi Arabia, and get answers straight from VisitSaudi.
The VisitSaudi connector links AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT to the official VisitSaudi website. They can look up things to do, events, tours, offers, visa rules and the weather, and answer with the official page link.

You: We are visiting AlUla next weekend with our kids. What should we do, and what will the weather be like?
-
Using VisitSaudi
Assistant: Here are family friendly picks from VisitSaudi, each with its page link, plus the forecast for AlUla. One tour links to a partner booking site, so it opens outside VisitSaudi. Prices are as listed and may change.
-
You: Which of these are free?
-
Using VisitSaudi
Assistant: Two of the picks are free to visit. Here they are, with their VisitSaudi page links and opening hours.

What you can ask

How to connect
Add it to your assistant in about two minutes
You add the connector once. After that it is there whenever you chat. Keep this address handy:
https://www.visitsaudi.com/mcp
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it VisitSaudi and paste the connector address. Leave any login fields empty.
- Select Add. In a new chat, make sure VisitSaudi is switched on in the tools menu, then ask your question.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors (in some versions, Connectors).
- Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode if your plan requires it.
- Choose Create, name it VisitSaudi, paste the connector address, and set authentication to No authentication.
- Save, then pick VisitSaudi from the tools in a new chat.
Claude Code
- Any assistant that supports MCP connectors over the web can use the same address. For Claude Code, run this once:
claude mcp add --transport http visitsaudi https://www.visitsaudi.com/mcp
These apps update their menus often, so a button may be named slightly differently. Some plans, or company accounts managed by an administrator, may need the administrator to allow custom connectors first.
Getting great answers
Ask like you would ask a local guide
-
Name the place. "in Riyadh", "near AlUla", "on the Red Sea".
-
Give the dates. "this weekend", "from 10 to 14 December".
-
Say who is coming. "with two children", "for a couple".
-
Mention your budget if it matters.
-
Pick your language. Ask in Arabic for answers in Arabic.
-
Ask for the link if you want to open or share the page.
-
Follow up. "Tell me more about the second one."
-
Like the website. Each answer gives the title, the key facts and the VisitSaudi page address.
-
Honest about links. When a link leaves VisitSaudi, for example to a ticket seller, the assistant says so.
-
Clear about the app. Some offers live in the Visit Saudi app rather than the website, and the assistant tells you where to find them.
Good to know
Before you book
-
No bookings or payments. It finds the page; you book there.
-
Visa answers are guidance. They are the website's general rules, not a personal visa decision. Always apply through the official link.
-
Prices can change. Check the final price on the booking page.
-
Links can leave VisitSaudi. Some tours and tickets open on a partner site, and the assistant tells you when they do.
Questions people ask
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a VisitSaudi account?
No. The connector is open to everyone and needs no login.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside services. The VisitSaudi connector is an MCP server. You do not need to know how it works, only its address.
Does it cost anything?
No. The connector is free. Your AI assistant may have its own plan.
Is my conversation shared with VisitSaudi?
The connector only receives the search it needs, such as "events in Riyadh". It never asks for personal details, so avoid typing any into your questions.
How fresh is the information?
It reads the live website, so it is as current as VisitSaudi itself.
The answer looks wrong. What should I do?
Open the page link in the answer and check the website. If the website itself is wrong, let us know through the Contact us page so it can be corrected.
My assistant does not use it.
Check that the connector is switched on for the chat, or ask "use VisitSaudi to..." at the start of your question.
